The Trophy Mules are a St. Louis, Missouri-based band known for blending rock, country, and folk into a distinctive Americana sound that spans musical boundaries. Fronted by Corey Saathoff, the group has been a staple of the local music scene since forming in 2009, opening for and sharing the stage with notable acts like Shooter Jennings, Chris Knight, Webb Wilder, Wayne “The Train” Hancock, Trapper Schoepp, and American Aquarium. Saathoff’s influences range from REM, Uncle Tupelo, and Jay Farrar (Son Volt) to Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Hank Williams Sr., Gram Parsons, The Byrds, Guided by Voices, and Merle Haggard.
