A Celebration of St. Louis Music

St. Louis has long been recognized as one of America’s great music cities, producing generations of influential jazz and blues artists whose impact continues to shape the genre today. The CWE Jazz & Blues Festival honors that legacy by providing a platform for today’s outstanding local musicians while creating an accessible, family-friendly event for the entire community.

This free community event invites residents and visitors to spend an afternoon immersed in the sounds, flavors and culture that have made the Central West End one of St. Louis’ premier destinations.

The 2026 festival schedule offers something for every music lover throughout the afternoon.

1:00 – 1:45 p.m.

The Ryan Marquez Trio
Jazz – – The festival opens with an energetic performance from The Ryan Marquez Trio, setting the tone for a full day of exceptional musicianship.

2:00 – 2:45 p.m.

Josiah Burton and The Blue Notes
Jazz – – Known for polished arrangements and soulful performances, the group continues the afternoon with classic and contemporary jazz influences.

3:00 – 3:45 p.m.

The Dhoruba Collective
Jazz Fusion – – Blending improvisation with modern rhythms, The Dhoruba Collective delivers an exciting fusion performance showcasing the evolving sound of St. Louis jazz.

4:00 – 4:45 p.m.

Dee Jazz
Jazz & Blues – – The festival transitions into blues-infused performances as Dee Jazz brings expressive vocals and timeless favorites to the stage.

5:00 – 5:45 p.m.

Red and Black Brass Band
Second Line – – Expect high-energy entertainment as the Red and Black Brass Band brings New Orleans-inspired second-line traditions to the Central West End.

6:00 – 6:45 p.m.

Lamar Harris’ Georgia Mae
Big Band Jazz – – The festival concludes with the powerful sound of big band jazz, closing the evening with classic arrangements and unforgettable performances.

Whether you’re discovering a new favorite artist, enjoying dinner on a patio with friends or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the festival offers an authentic celebration of the city’s thriving arts and music community.  Bring your lawn chairs and come listen to great music and have a cool beverage!
