Dusty James and Abalone Pearl @ Coffeyville CC

Dusty James and Abalone Pearl mix up the music, playing pop acoustic and traditional tunes, Americana and Beatles and original songs. They bring a carload of stringed musical instruments, swapping off banjo, mandolin, guitar, dulcimer and harmonica.

Dusty James is a champion flat-picker who was awarded third place in the guitar competition at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. He has written award-winning songs alongside musical partner, (Ms) Abalone Pearl.

This truly Midwestern duo brings a festive rhythm and a surprising down-home twang to songs you might not expect alongside original tunes with sweet melodies and lyrical ballads with a dash of humor to match their band’s name!

In addtion to this concert, Dusty and Pearl will become part of the Coffeyville community for three days – April 13, April 14 (this show) and April 15 – performing at venues all around the city, giving a city-wide large concert and being interviewed live on the local radio station KGGF Radio – Listen Live .
