SUMMARY:Anthology-A Tribute to the Allman Brothers Band @ Chesterfield Amphitheater
DESCRIPTION:Tickets on sale Friday\, April 24 at 10 AM\nAnthology is a band comprised of seasoned musicians who have a passion for the legacy of the Allman Brothers\, but what sets this ensemble apart from any others is their personal connection to the Allman Brothers\, and Gregg Allman in particular.  Two of the members\, Danny Liston-vocals and Dickie Steltenpohl-bass\, played in a Midwest band Mama’s Pride signed to Atlantic Records by the legendary Ahmet Ertegun.  At one point in their career their paths crossed with Gregg Allman.  He was impressed with their understanding of the feel for his music that he asked them to be in his band.  So\, playing the music of the Allman Brothers had become part of their DNA.  Other members of the band are Tom Denman-keyboards\, Terry Midkiff-guitar\, Matt Rowland-guitars\, Rob Lee-drums\, Joe Meyer-drums.  It’s Allman Brothers the way they would play\, not note for note\, but played with the kind of passion that ABB music evokes. \nDoors open at 6:00 PM. Show starts at 7:00 PM. \nSeating Information \n$20 – Advanced* General Admission (Access to lawn) \n$25 – Advanced* Reserved Seating (Stadium Style Fixed Seating) \n$25 – Advanced* Reserved Pit Seating \n$25 – Day of Show General Admission (Access to lawn) \n$30 – Day of Show Reserved Seating (Stadium Style Fixed Seating) \n$30 – Day of Show Reserved Pit Seating \n$60 – 4 Pack GA (Sales end August 6 at 11:59 PM) (Access to lawn) \n*Advanced ticket sale prices end August 6 at 11:59 PM. \nThe venue will be general admission\, except for the green stadium style seating & pit seating in front of the stage which will be reserved for Reserved Seating ticket holders only. SUMMARY:Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Kitchen Dwellers @ Atomic
DESCRIPTION:Atomic Block Party – this is a rain or shine event. \n$1 from every ticket sold benefits Backline\, a nonprofit providing mental health and wellness resources to music industry professionals and their families\, helping build a safer\, more supportive music community. \nANDY FRASCO & THE U.N.\nWith curly tufts of a recognizable ‘fro peeking out from his omnipresent knit cap\, Andy Frasco is a cross between John Belushi’s “Joliet” Jake Blues and Jimmy Buffett. He’s a band-fronting\, songwriting party animal who turns into a swirling rock ‘n’ roll Tasmanian Devil onstage leading his U.N.\, not unlike Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. From switching instruments mid-song to Frasco stagediving into the crowd or kibitzing with them\, an Andy Frasco & The U.N. show is a celebration of inclusivity and tolerance where “You do You” and “let us do us.”\n\nKITCHEN DWELLERS\nKitchen Dwellers continue to carve out their own lane in the world of progressive roots music\, blending bluegrass\, folk\, and psychedelic grit into a sound as expansive as their Montana home. The Bozeman-born quartet of Shawn Swain (mandolin)\, Torrin Daniels (banjo)\, Joe Funk (upright bass)\, and Max Davies (acoustic guitar) has grown from regional upstarts into one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking bands in modern string music. Their catalog pairs instrumental virtuosity with emotional storytelling\, an exploratory spirit\, and a deep connection to the American West.

SUMMARY:Tom Rush @ Wildwood Springs Lodge
DESCRIPTION:Tom Rush is a gifted musician and performer\, whose shows offer a musical celebration…a journey into the tradition and spectrum of what music has been\, can be\, and will become. His distinctive guitar style\, wry humour and warm\, expressive voice have made him both a legend and a lure to audiences around the world. His shows are filled with the rib-aching laughter of terrific storytelling\, the sweet melancholy of ballads and the passion of gritty blues. \nRush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the ’60s and the renaissance of the ’80s and ’90s\, his music having left its stamp on generations of artists. James Taylor told Rolling Stone\, “Tom was not only one of my early heroes\, but also one of my main influences.” Country music star Garth Brooks has credited Rush with being one of his top five musical influences. Rush has long championed emerging artists. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell\, Jackson Browne and James Taylor\, and in more recent years his Club 47® concerts have brought artists such as Nanci Griffith and Shawn Colvin to wider audiences when they were just beginning to build their own reputations.

SUMMARY:Big Head Todd & The Monsters @ The Pageant
DESCRIPTION:Due to unforeseen circumstances\, this show is rescheduled to Saturday\, October 10th. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date.  \nMessage from the band:\n“Unfortunately\, due to an ongoing medical issue with Brian Nevin\, our drummer\, we will be postponing all BHTM dates now through March. All dates from April onwards will go on as planned. We will be announcing postponement dates and refund options very soon. Thank you everyone for all your support.” \n  \nIn this life\, very few friendships withstand the test of time. Naturally\, people go their separate ways and chase their own dreams. As rare as it may be for friendships to last a lifetime\, it might be even rarer for a band to stick together for the long haul. For close to four decades\, the members of Big Head Todd and The Monsters—Todd Park Mohr [vocals\, guitar\, keys\, sax\, harmonica]\, Brian Nevin [drums]\, Rob Squires [bass\, vocals]\, and Jeremy Lawton [keyboards\, lap pedal/steel guitar\, vocals]—have continued to both throw down in the studio and light up stages worldwide. Rallying around a core vision\, the platinum-selling Colorado quartet kick out the kind of blues-drenched rock ‘n’ roll bangers that make you want to rev the engine a little louder\, sing along like no one’s looking\, and live a little freer. \n\n“We work very hard at being a great band\,” Todd leaves off. “We’re also a group that cares for each other. We’ve been together for almost 40 years. Our audience has made it all possible\, and we’re grateful and determined to keep playing.”
