SUMMARY:Pigeons Playing Ping Pong @ The Sovereign
DESCRIPTION:Few bands command a stage\, or a crowd\, quite like Baltimore’s Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.  Driven by an infectious live energy and a relentless touring schedule spanning nearly two decades\, the dynamic quintet—”Scrambled Greg” Ormont [vocals\, guitar]\, Jeremy Schon [guitar\, vocals]\, Ben Carrey [bass\, vocals]\, Alex “Gator” Petropulos [drums\, vocals]\, and new member Jon Brady [keys\, vocals]—has built an undeniable reputation as one of the most electric live acts on the tour circuit today. \nTo experience Pigeons Playing Ping Pong live is to step into a high-octane celebration powered by soaring jams\, infectious funk\, and the unmatched energy of their devoted fanbase\, The Flock. Their signature dynamic psychedelic funk sound\, a seamless fusion of soaring guitar solos\, danceable grooves\, explosive rhythms\, and exploratory jamming\, turns every show into a unified\, high-voltage dance party.  “Making music and connecting with people feels like something we were born to do\,” explains Ormont. “We have an unwavering commitment to keep evolving together.” \nAs Ormont sums it up best\, “We’ve been given the gift of this passion. So it’s our responsibility to nurture it\, embrace it\, and spread it wild. Because when the band and fans reach new heights together\, that’s where the real magic happens.” \nDoors open @ 6:00pm.
