The CWE Jazz & Blues Festival honors that legacy by providing a platform for today’s outstanding local musicians while creating an accessible\, family-friendly event for the entire community. \nThis free community event invites residents and visitors to spend an afternoon immersed in the sounds\, flavors and culture that have made the Central West End one of St. Louis’ premier destinations. \n \nThe 2026 festival schedule offers something for every music lover throughout the afternoon. \n1:00 – 1:45 p.m. \nThe Ryan Marquez Trio\nJazz – – The festival opens with an energetic performance from The Ryan Marquez Trio\, setting the tone for a full day of exceptional musicianship. \n2:00 – 2:45 p.m. \nJosiah Burton and The Blue Notes\nJazz – – Known for polished arrangements and soulful performances\, the group continues the afternoon with classic and contemporary jazz influences. \n3:00 – 3:45 p.m. \nThe Dhoruba Collective\nJazz Fusion – – Blending improvisation with modern rhythms\, The Dhoruba Collective delivers an exciting fusion performance showcasing the evolving sound of St. Louis jazz. \n4:00 – 4:45 p.m. \nDee Jazz\nJazz & Blues – – The festival transitions into blues-infused performances as Dee Jazz brings expressive vocals and timeless favorites to the stage. \n5:00 – 5:45 p.m. \nRed and Black Brass Band\nSecond Line – – Expect high-energy entertainment as the Red and Black Brass Band brings New Orleans-inspired second-line traditions to the Central West End. \n6:00 – 6:45 p.m. \nLamar Harris’ Georgia Mae\nBig Band Jazz – – The festival concludes with the powerful sound of big band jazz\, closing the evening with classic arrangements and unforgettable performances. \n \nWhether you’re discovering a new favorite artist\, enjoying dinner on a patio with friends or simply soaking in the atmosphere\, the festival offers an authentic celebration of the city’s thriving arts and music community.  Bring your lawn chairs and come listen to great music and have a cool beverage! \n

He’s a band-fronting\, songwriting party animal who turns into a swirling rock ‘n’ roll Tasmanian Devil onstage leading his U.N.\, not unlike Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. From switching instruments mid-song to Frasco stagediving into the crowd or kibitzing with them\, an Andy Frasco & The U.N. show is a celebration of inclusivity and tolerance where “You do You” and “let us do us.”\n\nKITCHEN DWELLERS\nKitchen Dwellers continue to carve out their own lane in the world of progressive roots music\, blending bluegrass\, folk\, and psychedelic grit into a sound as expansive as their Montana home. The Bozeman-born quartet of Shawn Swain (mandolin)\, Torrin Daniels (banjo)\, Joe Funk (upright bass)\, and Max Davies (acoustic guitar) has grown from regional upstarts into one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking bands in modern string music. Their catalog pairs instrumental virtuosity with emotional storytelling\, an exploratory spirit\, and a deep connection to the American West.
