DESCRIPTION:This electrifying evening with the MEB (Miles Electric Band)\, led by Emmy and Grammy-winning producer/drummer Vince Wilburn\, Jr. and featuring Keyon Harrold\, unites Miles Davis alumni with rising modern jazz stars. This dynamic ensemble celebrates the groundbreaking legacy of Miles Davis and his iconic electric era. \nMEB is a progressive All-Star ensemble featuring Miles Davis alumni revises the framework for modern jazz improvisation. The avant-garde collective revisits repertoire from Davis’ electric period to pay homage to The Chief. The band represents two generations of players: Davis’ contemporaries and the next generation of music all stars. This is a rotating ensemble of master musicians.
