DESCRIPTION:Pluckin’ to Feed is an event that combines music and food donation drives. It’s organized by ClusterPluck\, a local music group\, to collect non-perishable food items for local food banks. \nThe event has been running for over 10 years\, with the goal of collecting food for those in need\, especially during the holiday season. In 2024\, Pluckin’ to Feed was held at The Old Rock House in St. Louis\, featuring ClusterPluck and Spilie Nelson\, and successfully collected over 1\,000 pounds of non-perishable food. \nTo participate\, attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods or non-perishable items\, which are then donated to local food banks. In return\, participants often receive exclusive posters or other incentives.

DESCRIPTION:BIG UNEXPECTED NEWS!  A once in a Renaissance lifetime event!!\n\n\nMessage From Annie Haslam – “This is where the BIG news started\, in Edwardsville\, Illinois originally last October and the last two shows on our In Gratitude Farewell tour. Memorable shows\, lovely enthusiastic audience and beautiful intimate theater – The Wildey!  Then\, moving forward to August 2025\, I was approached by an Edwardsville/St Louis promoter to return to the Wildey Theatre for a ‘one woman” show!  After many phone calls\, it was decided to go ahead but with some music added… and then it just grew a lot bigger from there\, that now included Renaissance. These will be once in a lifetime shows\, presenting a format I would never have dreamed up myself. Kudos to the promoter who talked me into this.  It brought me together again with my old friend and founder of Renaissance as well as the The Yardbirds\, Jim McCarty to partner up to discuss the history of Renaissance. It will be followed by Jim along with Renaissance (including me) performing several of his songs\, then Renaissance will take the stage. An evening of the best Symphonic Rock music ever\, no doubt we really have come full circle!”\n\n\nThere will be two shows at the Wildey Theater\, Edwardsville\, Illinois\, on November 21st and 22nd.\n\n\nSURPRISE news for this Saturday show……………\n\n\n\nAndy Powell of Wishbone Ash will be joining Renaissance on stage for ASHES ARE BURNING this coming Saturday 22nd of November at the Wildey Theatre\, Edwardsville\, Illinois -he plays his iconic solo at the end of our 1973 recording.\n\n\n\n\nThis will be for one night only not to be missed and will go down in the ‘History of Renaissance’!
