Mike Zito & Albert Castiglia are bringing the CD Release Party for our brand-new album “Help Yourself” to The Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville\, IL\, Friday\, October 3 & Saturday\, October 4!  This will be a special blues celebration you don’t want to miss – two nights of brotherhood\, guitar fireworks\, and brand-new music!\n\n\nThe dynamic duo of guitarists\, Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia\, have come together to create the super-group “Blood Brothers”.  For over 45 years combined in the music business\, their musical journeys have paved their way in the Blues and Roots genre and have provided them with experience and life lessons.  Nine-time Blues Music Award Winner Mike Zito\, and five-time BMA winner Albert Castiglia have each won awards in the Blues Rock Artist of the Year category as well as the BMA for Blues Rock Album of the Year for their independent works.  With both artists on the exciting Gulf Coast Records label\, it only made sense for them to join forces and give the fans what they’ve been clamoring for: Blood Brothers.  In 2024\, their Blood Brothers debut album\, produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith\, won the Blues Music Award for Blues Rock Album of the Year. In November 2023\, Zito and Castiglia released Blood Brothers: Live in Canada\, an album with perfectly captures all the excitement and blues/rock energy created by the two during a recent tour.   Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia are true “Blood Brothers” in life and in the music\, they have created both individually and collectively\, joining forces in a collaborative effort of songwriting and high-energy performances to create a total listening experience greater than the sum of its parts.

SUMMARY:The Liston Brothers w/Anthology @ The Pageant
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 22 Years of Performing at The Pageant\, featuring Pat Liston\, Danny Liston & The Liston Brothers Band! \nPat and Danny last shared the stage together in 2013 as MAMA’s PRIDE on the ‘The Midwest Express Tour’ with STYX\, REO\, Ted Nugent  & MAMA’s PRIDE at Verizon Amphitheater. \nSince then\, Pat and Danny both have pursued solo and band projects separately.  It was time\, they decided to take another go of it and collaborate on a project together\, since the last time they had done so\, was in ’92 with the ‘Guard Your Heart’ CD. \nHow to merge their two very unique sounds and styles\, was going to be a challenge\, especially at this stage of both their careers and lives.  It had been too long\, to just wing it\, as they did in their younger years.  So\, when you’re not sure how to go about the task of merging and blending 2 very different artist\, you go back and visit your roots.  What  inspired them as young artist and moved them\, then go forward from there.  To let this unique sound develop over time.  Thus\, the idea of ‘The LISTON BROTHERS’ was born.
